At Mischief Works we do more than build spaces. We create experiences that people actually feel.
For summer 2025 Lab54, known for throwing the best house parties, joined forces with consumer brand VELO to take that energy outdoors and create an unforgettable experience across six festivals at Brockwell Park.
Starting with just an A4 sketch, we turned an idea into a fully realised environment in only eight weeks, from first drawing to doors open. The result was a two storey, eight container structure that was not just inspired by a house party but truly was the house party.
“We did a thing for this summer's festivals… ☀️ and I'm SO proud of it! People love a house party. A good photo opp, a bit of competition, and a DJ inthe kitchen (obviously). Don't just build a house - built an experience."
Step inside and you’ll find every room with its own story:
Silent Disco in the Kitchen because where else would the DJ be?
Living Room and Fireplace cosy meets cool.
Games Room with Shuffleboard a little friendly competition never hurt.
Utility Room Sampling product moments with CRM opt ins and giveaways.
Office and Wardrobe MacBook selfies and statement looks.
Bathroom complete with tub and the viral POP TUCK FEEL moment.
More than thirty five thousand festival goers set the scene, and over three thousand five hundred VELO consumers stepped inside for what became the most talked about house in London. With space for seven hundred and fifty people, dual staircases, and a fully engineered roof deck, it was a build designed to handle both the hype and the crowd.
This was more than a set. It was a living, breathing brand world built from the ground up.
